The Schutt Sports AiR 4.2 Batter's Helmet utilizes D30 impact protection, a soft and flexible shock absorbing material that's uniquely engineered to provide superior protection. The helmet shell is made from tough, solid ABS plastic and features 14 vent holes to enhance ventilation. The padding is easy to clean and is treated to resist the development of bacterial odors. The included AiR Lite Faceguard has an expanded, wide ranging field of vision. The top wire attaches on the top of the helmet bill for unobstructed visibility. It is substantially lighter than other faceguards, with better, more balanced distribution of weight.
