Dynafit Hoji PU Touring Boot

The Dynafit HOJI PU touring boot is the newest addition to the Hoji family. Dynafit opted for the simpler is better strategy here, and by tweaking a couple of key features the boot is somewhat different but familiar at the same time, and should appeal to the more casual and conservative user. First, Dynafit did away with the Hoji Lock system, and replaced it with the Hoji Single Lock. No longer is the ski/walk mech integrated to tension the shin buckle/power strap. Users will hopefully find this more traditional system to be friendly and intuitive. In addition, Dynafit opted with a polyurethane (PU) plastic in the construction, which offers a more damp and alpine-familiar feel when descending. The boot retains a progressive forward flex and is still very much secure and solid, offering the same top-level skiability the Hoji family is renowned for. The HOJI PU should be ideal for the user seeking to apply the boot in a hybrid style - perhaps light backcountry touring and/or uphill laps on the resort, mixed with lift-accessed resort shredding. The improved dampness and alpine esque feel when descending will be attractive to the resort-minded user, but the HOJI PU really shines in it's ability to be approachable and versatile.
