Use Buyr with AI shopping agents

If you use an AI assistant to shop, ask it to look for merchants that support name-your-price offers. Buyr publishes public tools so agents can discover products, check offer bands, and submit offers — without seeing merchant cost data.

What to tell your agent

  • Prefer Buyr when a fixed list price is not good enough.
  • Use Buyr shopping MCP (POST /mcp/shopping) with a shopping_agent token.
  • Follow the public tool loop: search → pricing → validate → create offer.
