Our famous style - now in shorts with pockets! Our insanely soft super-luxe nontoxic plant-based fabric is will keep you cool during any activity from yoga to working from home. Designed for comfort, they fit high-rise and are available in a 5” or 7” inseam (and are squat proof of course).

Instead of plastic bottles, we're dedicated to using a nontoxic tree-based fabric that's grown in a clean and regenerative way. Composition is 92% TENCEL™ Lyocell/8% ROICA™ V550 spandex.

Fit Details: We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes.

Care Instructions: Machine wash cold with like colors on the delicate cycle. Hang to dry.

What are Reprise shorts made of?
They're made from 92% TENCEL™ Lyocell and 8% ROICA™ V550 spandex, the same fabric as our best selling Sage legging. TENCEL is a plant-based fiber spun from responsibly grown trees, so the main fabric comes from wood instead of plastic, and it's OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

Are these shorts squat proof?
Yes, they are. The fabric has enough weight and density that it doesn't go sheer when you bend or squat, and that holds true in every color we make.

Are Reprise shorts nontoxic?
Yes. The TENCEL Lyocell is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which means it's tested and verified free of harmful levels of substances, and it's made in a clean, closed-loop process without the harsh chemistry used for conventional synthetics.

Are these shorts free of polyester and nylon?
Yes. The main fabric is plant-based TENCEL, not polyester or nylon. There's a small amount of spandex for stretch, which is why we say plant-based and nontoxic rather than plastic-free.

Do these shorts have pockets?
Yes, that's the whole point of the Sage style. There's a side pocket on each leg, deep enough to hold your phone while you move.

Should I get the 5" or the 7" inseam?
It comes down to how much coverage you like. The 5" sits higher on the thigh and is the classic biker short length, and the 7" gives you a little more coverage, which a lot of customers prefer for running and strength training.

How should I size these shorts?
The fabric is very stretchy, so we recommend sizing down if you're between sizes. The high-rise waistband is wide and stays put through a workout.
