This ParWest Golf JPX 925 Hot Metal HL Combo Set replaces the harder-to-hit long irons with 4- and 5-hybrids, then transitions into JPX 925 Hot Metal HL irons from 6-iron through PW/GW. It is designed for golfers who want easier launch at the top of the set while keeping the high-launch, max-forgiveness characteristics of the HL irons through the scoring clubs.
What's in This Combo Set?
The current configurations on this product page are 4 Hybrid + 5 Hybrid + 6-PW/GW irons. The 4 and 5 clubs are actual hybrids—not Hot Metal HL long irons. Available shaft/flex options are shown in the product selector.
Why Choose the Combo?
Easier long-club launch: Hybrids can be more forgiving and easier to elevate than traditional 4- and 5-irons for many golfers. HL iron transition: From the 6-iron down, the set uses the JPX 925 Hot Metal HL profile with Nickel Chromoly 4335 construction, CORTECH Design and a high-launch loft structure. Consistent purpose: The entire setup prioritizes height, carry and playable forgiveness.

This configuration makes the most sense for golfers who like the JPX 925 Hot Metal HL irons but do not consistently launch or strike traditional long irons. It can be especially useful for moderate swing speeds, but the correct choice should be based on launch, carry gaps and strike quality rather than age alone.

The HL irons are weaker-lofted than standard Hot Metal to create more launch and spin. For reference, the HL 6-iron is 28°, 7-iron is 31°, PW is 45° and GW is 50°.
