Milwaukee SE600 Replaceable pH/EC/TDS Combination Probe for Milwaukee MW801 and MW802 Meters

The Milwaukee SE600 probe is a multi-parameter probe for measuring pH, conductivity, and total dissolved solids (TDS) in water testing applications. This is a replacement probe for the Milwaukee MW801 and MW802 meters (both sold separately). It contains a single-junction silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) reference electrode that is sealed and filled with an electrolyte solution gel for minimal maintenance in general applications. It has a polypropylene body for solvent resistance. It is 16mm in diameter and 98mm long, and has 1m cable with 7-pin Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN)-compliant connector for attaching to meters. An electrode, also called a sensor or probe, is an instrument used with a meter to test and measure parameters of a substance. ORP, also known as redox, electrodes measure dissolved oxygen in aqueous solutions to determine the level of contaminants and their ability to act as oxidizing or reducing agents. Ion selective electrodes (ISEs) respond selectively to ions in the presence of other ions. Electrodes are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in a wide variety of industries, such as aquaculture, agriculture, chemistry, food and beverage, wine-making and water-testing, and for scientific applications. An electrode can be used with a datalogger to assist in temperature measurement.
