The Taiss Tour Mid GTX Boot is Mammut's lighter mountaineering boot built for maximum performance in challenging terrain. Gore-Tex gives rugged waterproofing in harsh winter weather, and is still comfortably breathable during summertime alpinism. Mammut's Georganic 3D technology optimizes the upper's fit for outstanding comfort, and Contact Control ensures enhanced mobility on the mountain. Vibram's Ascension Litebase sole reduces weight without taking away any of the traction needed for mountainous ascents, and there's a heel insert for crampons.
